Fear Free certified; cat-friendly practice
Lincoln Park
Locally Owned
About
General practice on Diversey with Fear Free and cat-friendly certification, open late four nights a week.
A general practice on Diversey near Ashland, offering internal medicine and surgical care alongside routine work.
Two things stand out. They are Fear Free certified, which matters if your dog finds the vet genuinely distressing. And they stay open until 8pm Monday through Thursday, which is unusual and useful if you work standard hours.
They are not an emergency hospital. After hours they refer to MedVet Chicago and Premier Veterinary Group.
Address, phone and hours were confirmed on 2026-09-22 from the practice's own site, animalmedicalcenterofchicago.com. Hours change, so call ahead if the timing matters. This is not a 24-hour facility; their after-hours page refers emergencies to MedVet Chicago and Premier Veterinary Group. We do not know whether they are currently accepting new patients, and we have no pricing information, so ask when you call. The practice sits near the Lincoln Park and Lakeview boundary at Diversey and Ashland, and is tagged Lincoln Park.
