About
West Loop Italian restaurant with a patio and a published, priced dog menu — "Puppy Ciao." One of very few Chicago venues that publishes anything for dogs at all.
A two-storey Italian restaurant on Randolph Row with a street-facing patio.
The dog menu is real and priced, which almost nothing in Chicago is. "Puppy Ciao," from the restaurant's own site as of 2026-09-25:
- Chicken breast, burger patty or skirt steak — $10 each
- Woof Cream (dairy free) — $3
- Dairy-free gelato — $6
- Doggy doughnut — $7
- "Pawsibly the Best Sundae Ever" — $8
The thing to know before you order. Chicago's dog-friendly-area ordinance (4-8-031) permits giving a dog water in a designated dog-friendly area, not food. A priced dog menu and that rule cannot both be fully true on the same patio. The directory is not in a position to say how the restaurant handles it — ask when you sit down. The ordinance is explained in full on the Patios & Restaurants category page.
Bar Siena's own menu page does not say where dogs are allowed, so assume patio only.
