Robert's Pizza and Dough Company

Well-regarded pizza on McClurg Court, near the river end of Streeterville, with a patio that takes dogs — and dog biscuits made from the same dough as the pizza.

That's a nicer touch than it sounds. It means somebody in the kitchen thought about it rather than buying a box of biscuits for the host stand.

One note on the city rules: Chicago's dog-friendly-area ordinance says dogs may be given water but not food in a designated dog-friendly area. Plenty of venues offer dog treats anyway, and nobody is patrolling this — but if you want the biscuit, it's worth knowing the rule exists and letting the staff decide how they handle it.

Handy if you're walking the Riverwalk or Ohio Street Beach.
