Walking, Pickup and drop-off
Sparky Steps has walked dogs since 2016, from a base on Sunnyside Avenue in Albany Park, and covers the northwest and North Side neighborhoods listed here.
Visits run 10, 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Weekday visits between 9am and 5pm are $17 to $37 depending on length; the per-length prices sit in an estimator that could not be read. The company also offers drop-ins, overnights and a pet taxi, but publishes no prices for them, so it is listed under walkers only.
On trust, the company says it is licensed, insured and bonded, that walkers are background-checked, that it belongs to Pet Sitters International and NAPPS, and that most of its team holds American Red Cross cat and dog first aid certification. GPS tracking, photos and notes come with every visit.
