Buds N' Suds

Buds N' Suds

A full-service grooming salon at 3908 W Montrose Ave in Irving Park.

Hours: not published. The site gives no hours of operation. Call before you go.

Open-concept layout. The grooming areas are visible rather than behind a closed door. If you have a dog who panics at handover, or you have simply never been comfortable not seeing what happens during a groom, that is the reason to look here first.

Services: bath and grooming, custom styling to your specification. CBD treatments are offered as an add-on.

Credentials: the groomers have a combined 20-plus years of experience, and at least one is certified in pet first aid and CPR.

Proof of current rabies vaccination is required. Bring the paperwork to a first appointment.

Pricing is not published — the salon quotes during the visit, based on breed, size and coat condition. That is standard, but it does mean you will not know the number until your dog is already there. Ask for a range on the phone when you book.

A note on the address: the business's own site describes its location as the "Ravenswood area." It is not — 3908 W Montrose is in Irving Park, about two and a half miles west of Ravenswood. Tagged by actual location.

Address, phone and services verified from budsnsudschicago.com. Hours were not published.
