About
Family-owned North Center brewery that calls itself dog-friendly on its own site, a few blocks from Horner Park's off-leash area.
Amenities
A small brewery on Rockwell Street in North Center that describes itself in its own words as "a family-owned, dog-friendly brewery" — which puts it in the minority of Chicago venues that say anything about dogs at all.
Worth pairing with a park trip. It sits a few blocks south of Horner Park's dog-friendly area on Montrose, which makes it one of the easier after-the-park stops in the city. It is also two blocks from Stay. A Modern Dog Hotel, if you are collecting a dog from boarding.
One thing the site does not say is whether dogs are welcome indoors in the taproom or only outside. Chicago's ordinance only covers designated outdoor areas at places that serve food, so anywhere a venue allows dogs inside sits outside that rule — see the Patios and Restaurants page. Worth a quick ask at the bar.
Open Monday to Thursday from 4pm, and from noon at weekends.
