A PUPS club at 850 N State St, in the middle of the Gold Coast. PUPS is a Chicago-grown operation with seven locations, all of them inside the city.

• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Boarding runs 365 days a year, including the holidays when most independents close.

Daycare runs seven days here. Worth checking against the other clubs before you assume it — River North and Streeterville close daycare at weekends entirely and open only for grooming.

Services: daycare with social play and outdoor breaks, overnight boarding in suites with evening walks, grooming, and reward-based training, private or group.

Getting there without a car is the point of this one. State and Chicago, a short walk from the Chicago Red Line stop. Parking is paid public street parking only — no lot, no member spaces, which in the Gold Coast means meters and circling. If you are driving daily, the Wicker Park club has dedicated member parking and the Lakeshore East club has a loading dock.

Pricing is not published, and neither are the things worth asking before a first visit: vaccination requirements, whether there is a temperament test, the staff-to-dog ratio, and whether small and large dogs play separately. Any daycare worth using answers all four without hesitation.
