About
Bridgeport practice offering conventional care alongside acupuncture and Western herbal medicine.
A general practice on South Morgan in Bridgeport, covering Pilsen, McKinley Park, Bronzeville, Hyde Park and the South Loop as well.
Alongside the usual wellness, dental, surgical and ultrasound work, they offer integrative therapies — acupuncture and Western herbal medicine. That is genuinely uncommon in Chicago and worth knowing if you have an older dog with chronic pain, or one where conventional treatment has stalled.
Urgent care during opening hours. Closed Sundays, and Friday and Saturday hours are shorter.
Address, phone, hours and services were confirmed on 2026-09-23 from the practice's own site, urbanpetrx.com. Hours change, so call ahead if the timing matters. Note the shorter Friday and Saturday hours, which are easy to misread as full days. They offer acupuncture and Western herbal medicine alongside conventional care, which is why this practice appears under Specialty and Rehab as well as Veterinarians. This is not a 24-hour facility. We do not know whether they are accepting new patients, and we have no pricing information, so ask when you call.
