About
Walk-in emergency hospital at North and Halsted, open 24 hours a day, every day. No appointments.
VEG's Lincoln Park location sits at North Avenue and Halsted, on the Old Town boundary. It handles emergencies only — their model is deliberately appointment-free.
From their own site: "we don't take appointments, because we deal with emergencies… call us or walk in to your nearest VEG location 24/7 for immediate care."
If your dog is in trouble right now: 312-757-5444. Call on your way so they are ready for you.
Hours and 24/7 status confirmed 2026-09-22 from the hospital's own website. Emergency only — this is not a general practice and will not replace your regular vet. No appointments are taken; walk in or call. The hospital is at North and Halsted, on the Lincoln Park and Old Town boundary, and is tagged Lincoln Park to match its own naming.
